A Message from our Pastor
Thank you for viewing our website. You may be looking for a church home in Goldsboro, NC. This website will
provide you an image of who we are and our intentions. Please visit us in person.
We are part of this faith community. Juliette and I have been privileged to serve Goldsboro Wesleyan since
December 2004. Our mission is to worship God with all our heart, mind, and strength. Worship is about
relationship. God sent His Son Jesus to earth so that we could know Him personally. We can experience a
relationship with Jesus Christ and through Him call God...Father. Being a Christ-follower is more than an
experience, it is also a life time journey.
We are laborers. Our first job is to become more like Jesus daily. We learn new things about Jesus and find
fresh ways to serve Him. That's love in action. Everything else falls into place by making Jesus our first priority.
Our second job is to love our neighbors as ourselves. That's you! We are committed to knowing you and
serving your needs, as if you were Heaven sent. We also purpose to encourage you to take part in our
ministry. We have two webmasters who labored to put this website together! What are your talents?
We are laborers together with God. God had a plan for all our lives before He created this world. We find our
purpose by fitting into His purposes. Each of us was Hand made, one of a kind, in our mother's womb. When
we discover and engage in our God-given purpose, our world is blessed. We were also created as relational
beings. God designed us to work together. God has planned for many of us to work at Goldsboro Wesleyan.
However, no activity is truly blessed until it honors God. Giving a cup of water is a wonderful gesture. Giving a
cup of water, in the name of Jesus, is ministry.
The Apostle Paul wrote the above description, of ministry, in his first letter to the church at Corinth. It's amazing
how a good idea works every time. We are attempting to reach out to you in the name of Jesus. If this website
is drawing you to visit us, you must be Heaven sent. We look forward to seeing you. May God bless you in
relationship this day!
